I joined a new Band - YekDuY
Just before the lockdown started, I joined a lovely new project called YekDuY Band. YekDuy means 'One, two' in Romani language. The members are Hungarian, Romani and Slovakian and we playing music from eastern and central european countries mainly in a Romani language. How exiting! The sound is very special thanks to a cimbalom (Hungarian hammered dulcimer) and a 'brács' / kontra (shoulder or chord viola).
Musicians in the band:
Lori Secanska (vocal)
Janos Kallai (dulcimer/cimbalom)
Krisztina Gyura (violin, viola)
Rudolf Toni (kontra, guitar, accordion)
Andras Lovaszi (double bass)
